Once you’re in, every order, referral, and side quest turns into points you can cash in for real discounts on comics, trades, movies, and more.
How points work
For every $1.00 you spend at The House of Stories, you earn 10 points.
Stack those points and you can turn them into instant discounts at checkout:
- 1,000 points is worth $5.00 off your order.
- 5,000 points gets you free shipping (up to 15 CAD in shipping fees).
Your regular pull list quietly adds up to real money off the next order.
Example 1:
- You buy one single‑issue comic for about $6.99 every week.
- After roughly 15 weeks, you’ll have earned around 1,000 points.
- That's enough to knock about $5 off your next order.
- That discount covers most of a weekly issue.
Example 2:
- You buy a ratio cover for $120.00 and earn 1,200 points in one shot.
- That’s already more than enough to slice $5.00 off your next order, or you’re partway to free shipping!

Keep A Look Out: Side Quests
Some things in the shop are worth extra XP.
Side quests are specially marked items and actions that earn you bonus points on top of your regular 10 points per $1.00 spent.
When you see a Side Quest on a product, that means:
- Buying that item earns extra points.
- We'll apply the bonus points towards the specific Quest Item(s) in your order.
- You’ll see the extra points in your rewards balance once your order is complete.
Side quests will rotate and change over time.
These can include featured titles, event‑related items, seasonal promos, or other specials that give you a bigger push toward your next discount or free shipping reward.
Additional side quests such as in‑store missions, special drops, or community‑based actions will be added in the future as the program grows.
